The clue is in the name, so Chris stitched me not only a wonderful mattress pinkeep, but a cute scissor fob as well using a Prairie Schooler design – I absolutely love what she’s stitched, it’s gorgeous :)
Check out the wonderful detail on the side of the mattress pinkeep:
I posted my Prairie Schooler exchange off to my partner a couple of weeks ago (Thurs 12/2/09) so hopefully it will turn up soon – otherwise I’ll be stitching a replacement!
Happy stitching!
P.S. To the person who anonymously berated me for not passing on the blog award I mentioned in the last post – if you’re not prepared to sign your name to your comment, then I’m not prepared to listen. You’ll probably be aghast to know that I have also broken every single chain letter ever sent to me, EVER. It’s my blog, and if I don’t feel like passing on an award, I bl**dy well won’t.

What a lovely exchange from Chris. I love how she'd stitched the little flowers around the sides. It's so pretty.
OMG someone berated you for not passing the award on! That is just so petty!
I'm with you. These things amount to not much more than chain letters. I have yet to win loads of money, have bad luck, have my spouse leave me or die. ;)
People suck.
What a gorgeous exchange! I love the detail that Chris added to the sides, it's beautiful!
I agree with you - sign your name or don't comment! Very cheeky, not to mention rather rude. I have to admit that these endless rounds of awards tend to irritate me a little bit, but maybe I'm just turning into a grumpy old woman now that I'm over 40 ;)
You go girl!
The exchange is just fabulous. Lucky, lucky you!

That's a GREAT exchange. Eagerly awaiting my PS exchange. LOL. :D
Sorry about your anonymous comment. Ninnies. They're everywhere.
Lovely exchange you have received and good for you answering your anonymous commenter back. I thought what you had said about the award was nice.
A lovely exchange piece.
Can't belive one small award can create so much bad feeling.
As the giver of the award in question I pass them on because I want to but leave it up to others to do as they see fit with it. As such I'm in no way offended by your decision. Life really is too short for so many angry words about something that in my eyes is simply meant to give the recipient a few moments of pleasure. I select to pass the awards on as my way of saying thank you for the moments of pleasure the recipient bring into my life via their blog.
What a lovely PS pinkeep. The attention to detail is wonderful.
I rarely pass on the awards that come to me either as I don't want to single out some blogs over others. Each contributes something special in their own way.
Good grief. Some people really need to get a life.
Your partner gifted you with a *very* beautiful exchange package. Isn't it frustrating how long it can take for some packages to make it across the pond? I hope yours arrives soon!
What a gorgeous pinkeep and a cute fob for bonus - how great is that!
I'm sorry you got the nasty comments. I feel of two minds about the blog award thing - it's nice but after awhile it somehow becomes like you said a chain letter, losing the original meaning. (I'm sending you a BC hug - hope that helps!)
You received a great PS exchange. Such a lovely pincushion, so perfectly sticthed and finished, with lots of little extras. It's really special.
Here's another chain letter breaker. :D As for all the awards that go 'round periodically, they're really quite meaningless and nothing to get worked up about. A little mention in a blog post or link in the sidebar blog list means more to me!
